1The standard this site aims for
This site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.
2How it is checked
Before an update goes live, every page is checked with automated tests in light and dark mode, with the keyboard alone, and at a phone width of 320 pixels. The last full check was on October 23, 2026, and the automated tests found no WCAG 2.2 AA issues.
These checks do not prove full conformance, so if something is hard to use, please tell me.
3Apps I build for public schools
Apps and dashboards I build for public schools are built to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Each school quote lists how the app is tested, and you get the test results at launch.
WCAG 2.1 AA is the standard the U.S. Department of Justice's ADA Title II rule sets for the websites and apps of public schools and other state and local governments, including apps a vendor builds for them. Under the current rule, a district must meet it by April 26, 2027 or April 26, 2028, depending on the population count the rule uses for that district (ADA.gov).
Any other client can ask for the same standard in their quote.
